Charter cost is $140/hr for either vehicle with most groups doing 3-4 hour sessions.

South Waikato Indoor Pool

This pool complex consists of a main 25 metre by 13.3 metre pool with six lanes. However, provision for eight lanes is provided through extra lane anchors. The depth of the main pool varies from 1.05 metres to 2.2 metres. A tiered leisure pool with graduated depths up to a maximum depth of 0.9 metres consists of a sloping beach entry, waterfalls and bubble jets. There is also a hot spa and exercise spa pool adjacent to one another. The main pool is heated to 29 degrees during winter, the leisure pools are 33 degrees while the spa pool is a relaxing 39 degrees! Other facilities include a community room, a children's outdoor play area and BBQ and picnic surrounds adjacent to the building.

Tokoroa Golf Club

Enjoy a few holes in the sun at the Tokoroa golf course.

Jim Barnett Reserve

Thirteen different tracks meander through the Jim Barnett Reserve. The tracks are of varying lengths, but all are easy walking with a few short, steep sections, negotiable for people of most fitness levels.

Tracks are shared with the Waikato River Trails, please be aware of cyclists on the tracks and share with care.

Talking Poles

Tokoroa's Talking Poles were first suggested in 1996 as a feature for the town's retail area.

The project was enthusiastically supported by residents and to date, 46 poles are on display. The Talking Poles project aims to depict the variety of cultures in our community. Because of our forestry heritage, many of the poles are made from pine and other local woods. However, mediums such as ceramic and steel are also used.
